Nice atmosphere and surprisingly good food. Good service. We had a good lunch for us and for the kids. We will come back!

The place (the near Akumal beach included) is a real hotspot for tourists - so unfortuantely it lost it's natural beauty and had turned into a kind of money making area. I guess some years before is has been a really nice place - I...More

We have chartered a fishing boat through La Cueva del Pescador Restaurant several times now. The best part is getting to eat the days catch for dinner! We caught a sail fish on our last trip. It had to be one of the most exciting...More

This place is very casual, with great fresh fish dishes, a little of everything and a full bar. We came here on our first night in Akumal and it really hot the spot. The dishes are all served with cole slaw, so if you're looking...More

We had fantastic large portions of fresh ceviche. Took leftovers home with lots of chips to go. Really delicious guacamole and margaritas to top it off. The service was very friendly and welcoming.

I have been coming here for years. The cevichi is always great and the grilled lobster is to. This most recent time, we tried the grilled octopus and were blown away by the flavor.

Yes. They have lots of room and a festive atmosphere but also family friendly. I do not think you need reservations.
