Everytime i have been here, the food has been great. Everytime. Staff is great. Just try to stay away from the ice cream or you may find yourself there daily.

Our 2nd visit to this very quaint restaurant. Typical friendly Mexican service and delicious food. A great place to spend time with friends.

Was a bit tricky for me to find, as it was my first visit to Akumal, and the bakery is sort of tucked away in a comer, but people were friendly and helped with directions. THE best homemade ice cream! Worth getting a large container to take home. Coconut ice cream is a must try, with chunks of shredded coconut... More

We are locals, usually with many guests. Turtle bay bakery is always in our list for Saturday lunch. Whoever created that menu and recipes must know us really well -- always respectful, generous and scrumptious. I usually start with a gecko juice cocktail (health drink of green chaya mixed with pineapple.) Our guests are happy with the fish tacos, grilled... More

Stayed at Casa Esperanza (private villa rental) for a week. Loved this place for Lucy's homemade ice cream on a hot afternoon and for the amazing breakfasts. Try the three egg omelet, the Hobo breakfast, the cappuccino, French toast and pancakes!

We happened upon this place looking for a few pastries to bring back to our rental villa and were pleased with the in-house made muffins and other pastries. We also got a fresh made loaf of bread and enjoyed a cup of espresso as we waited for our things to be packed up. There are cute gifts and wares in... More
