We decided to eat early and walk to the restaurant from our accommodations at Hacienda de la Tortuga. We had lasagna and fettuccine alfredo. Washed it down with Pacifico cerveza And walked in a coma back to the condo. the wait staff was gracious and we will definitely go back! Their flan was amazing! Don't pass up a chance to... More

What a great find down by YalKu Lagoon. Delicious food with beautiful atmosphere. No crowds--very relaxing. Reasonable prices.

During our 10 day stay in a near by rental property we ate and drank here on many occasions. The food was great, well priced, the facility was clean and they provided excellent service.

We went here on our last nite in Akumal. Started off with a bruschetta which was very tasty. We had two pastas, and a fish. It was a nice meal, but nothing overly special. The pastas could have used some seasoning, and the shrimp was in a tomato sauce, with a side of rice and some beets and zucchini. It... More

A little off the beaten path, but worth it. Food was delicious and service was very good. The filet was tender. The pasta dishes tasted so fresh.

Que Onda is a bit off the beaten path, tucked away in North Akumal near the Yal-Ku Lagoon. But I think it's worth the trip for the delicious pastas. I know I get a bit tired of Mexican fare—or the American food you pick up on the quick at the Lol-Ha snack bar and the like—when I'm in Akumal for... More

We have vacationed in Akumal for many years and have eaten at Que Onda every time we have come. Sad to say, this will be our last time for this restaurant. While the food was good, the service was abominable, especially considering we and one other couple were the only people in the place. My mojito did not have enough... More

We were in Akumal for 6 nights and ate at Que Onda 3 nights. Homemade pasta and they will make just about any pasta dish you want. My son wanted alfredo sauce with shrimp so they made it for him. The Mexican flag pasta dish is really good since it has shrimp, poblanos peppers, and it's served in a cream... More

This restaurant was a short walking distance from our summer rental. The pasta was fantastic as were the seafood eggrolls. Everyone in our large party enjoyed their meal. Also the Tirimisu and the chocolate cake were to die for.

We ate brunch at Que Onda, which we stumbled upon on our walk toward Yalku Lagoon. It's located on the north end of Half Moon Bay just a few minutes walk from the lagoon (on the jungle side of the road). The food and service were very good and the ambiance is wonderfully peaceful and pleasant. The venue is mostly... More
