We decided to eat here after visiting the ruins. It's conveniently located outside the main entrance beside the parking lot. We ordered tacos and enchiladas, as well as some drinks. The meals were great and very reasonably priced. There weren't any crowds at the time of our meal, which made it very relaxing and enjoyable after a long walk and... More

Our guide stopped here for lunch before visiting Coba ruins, and it's obviously a tourist stop. We had the buffet on the second floor, which overlooks a lake. The food was ok, typical local dishes. Since it was our first meal out in the countryside, we didn't realize that it could have been much better. For instance, the lime soup... More

We we to Ji-Kanal as part of our organised tour. We had the buffet meal upstairs which was plentiful but a little bland, although others in our group found it too spicy (you can't please everyone). Meal was very welcome after a long day visiting the ruins and we were also entertained by Mayan actors playing a traditional Mayan ball... More

We had lunch at Ji-Kanal as part of a tour at the Coba national park. food was all ready once we returned from our Ruins tour. The food was based on traditional mexicain food and it was certainly enjoyable. I was expecting abit more spice and flavour, but felt it was alittle bland. certainly not bad. good service and a... A meal at Ji-Kanal was included in out tour after seeing the Coba ruins. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. We were able to purchase more drinks after we had the one that was included.

This is more of an "eat before heading into the ruins" place. The buffet we had was adequate, but nothing special. Had to get our own drinks as service was nothing to write home about.

Situated just outside the entrance to Coba this restaurant attracts the coach parties as they finish the tour of the Mayan ruins. The food is a buffet of traditional Mexican food which is ok but not great. It’s a captive market but I think the food quality could be better.

Food choices from buffet for organized tour groups were not great and taste not much better. Right at the attraction which made it convenient and quick however.

We came here after touring the ruins of Tulum. The guacamole and salsa was fantastic, the rest of the meal was...eh. Service was slow...probably wouldn't go here again.

4 of us visited this restaurant after Coba Ruins visit in October. Not very busy so thought we'd try it. We drove over from Akumal. Had been eating out at different Mexican Restaurants all week. We all (3- 20 year old something guys and 1- 56 year old guy) enjoyed our meals here, we had exceptionally fast service, and the... More
