If you take the cruise like we did and not signed up for any excursions - you will be stuck at this port probably built exclusively for the cruise Ships. Your only option is to walk around the numerous souvenir shops or one of the handful of bars and bars and restaurants. We ended up at Señor Frog. Nice atmosphere,... More

Not your typical restaurant. Besides the good food and drinks, this location is amazing. Located right of.f the cruise ship, you really don't need to go anywhere else. They have Dolphins swimming and a very large pool. Since there is a shopping area here as well it can be a little like sunbathing in a parking lot, but Señor Frogs... More

Great pool attached to this place to cool off, lots of loungers, pool bar handy, lots of over priced beverages available if you would like as well. In the cruise port surrounded by shops and vendors.

Very laid-back, relaxing way to cool off, enjoy the lively island sounds, tourists passing by, while having a delicious margarita, beer or whatever! Surrounded by shopping and ships. Music invigorates you, but the booze also helps! Beers $5. Recommend a stop to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Open-air, covered dining.

If you are on a cruise ship and stop at this port this place is a must. You can people watch, watch people swim with dolphins, or just look at the ocean. There is a huge swim up bar so bring your suit. Make sure you order the guacamole and specify that you want it made fresh at your table.

After fighting off the guy who wanted to rent 6 of us 2 golf carts for $60 each cart for 3 hours we took the $3 per person shuttle to the "resort" area and got off at the first stop which happened to be Senor Frogs. The beach was free and had lounge chairs and palm trees for shade. We... More

Drink prices were good. Setting/ beach chairs excellent. Had lunch somewhere else. Nearest closest reef. Suggest hiring a boat to snorkel however.

It probably did not help that there were four cruise ships that day at Costa Maya, but we came ashore to do some shopping and thought that we would have a snack at Senor Frogs. We waited far too long to be served and attempted to get someone, but I don't think that there was nearly enough wait staff. It... More

Famished after dropping money at the diamonds international, we stopped to eat here. There were Inflated hand written prices covering up the faded peeling plastic menu on white peel off label. Watery drinks. $18 for a margarita. $20 for a burrito with Tiny portions. An actual frog may have tasted better. Kitchen was "down" so she had to check that... More

We recently had the opportunity to visit this location as part of a cruise package. The beach area was small and very 'rocky' where you wade in... There was no room to sit initially ( maybe due to overbooking). The food was nothing to rave over either... The only positive thing to say is that the drinks were ok. I... More
