A nice atmosphere and delicious food. Good service and tasty beverages. It's a good place to meet other travelers, since it is part of a hotel.

We came here for a late lunch with a large group. There was ample parking, and the place had an easy ambiance. As with many of these places, the dining room is more of an open porch - which was not a problem. There were a several other couples having lunch as well - but there was very little delay... More

A great welcome, and delicious. Sadly, I ordered fries to go with my salad which was rather lost in translation, but they arrived very quickly when I 're-ordered' and were proper home cooked chips! Staff were very efficient and friendly. Worth a trip.

We only ate here. The food was adequate, lots of choice if you like chicken! My partner had a dry pork dish as was my chicken dish. Our vegetarian friends struggled with choice. Only 1 bottle each of white and red wine which was pleasant.

So sorry you were disappointed with your meal . Apart from pork and chicken we do have beef as in albondigas con heirbabuena or fajitas de res . Also we do have ample vegetarian dishes but one has to realize in Mexico it is mainly meat and it is a struggle to find in this area vegetarian dishes . Also... More

We loved the Chaya dish! Excellent quality food. The soups are all vegetarian, which was awesome. The Greek salad was also excellent. Our boys like the grilled cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they were able to accommodate.

We have been to the Picked Onion many times and we are never dissappointed! The food is excellent, the menu has a good selection of dishes and they serve a variety of traditional Mexican meals and Yucatecan specialties along with salads and other international favourites. The owner Valerie is always friendly and takes the time to say hello to all... More

We ate a delicious, fresh meal at Pickled Onion as we drove back from the nearby caves (grutas) to Havienda Uxmal. The food selection was fine and generally tasted very good, with the only disappointment taste-wise being the juice which had lots of water added. Sadly the service was a bit grumpy and monosyllabic with our smiles and niceties being... More

The place has ambiance and view, but as vegetarians , had only one choice for main course, , 3 options of salat( small portions - can not replace a main)and French fries. Came twice, as looked like there were no other alternatives in St. Elena. First night very busy and it took the waiter for ever to take our order.... More
