Visited this Cenote mid afternoon after the occasional coach trip pulls in on way back from Chichen Itza to Cancun. Some excellent jumps up to ten metres. Great fun. Water clean and fresh. Catfish abound and the species that if you sit still give you a pedicure. There is a restaurant and it was one of the best I went... More

Wonderful experience beautiful Cenote traditional additional food of the Yucatán. Handmade tortillas are to die for and the hot sauce is very very good. YUM!

Friendly staff. The shrimp cocktail of my gf was very awful. I love shrimps but this one was tomato Sauce with water and some not tasting shrimps. We couldn't eat it. I ordered pollo negro- a so called local specialty. Maybe we were just the wrong persons to eat it but it tasted awful as well. The pollo (chicken) was... More

If you haven't seen a Cenote it's a good place to start. Only 10 minutes on foot from the city center.

After going to the beautiful Zaci Cenote, we stop at the restaurant without hoping it would be amazing, as it's before everything a touristic place... Despite the difficulties to understand the menu (dish name in Mexican without any explanations), we were happily surprised by the quality of the dish ! However the waiter was not very friendly. But the view... More

This ancient sacred cenote can give you the opening to slow down, cool down, enjoy a beer and 'botanas' (chip and dip sort of ) AND maybe a chance to get of sense of the thousands of years of pilgrims who've passed through here. Some tables directly overlook the cavern while comfortably under an impressive grass roof. The food is... More

But not worth bringing a snorkel. Dark water and not much to see. Black catfish nibble and tickle. Beautiful tropical vibes. Great restaurant!

Worth seeing because it's a beautiful oasis right in the city. But if a cenote swin is what you are looking for, there are more impressive ones.

It's amazing to find almost in the centre of Valladolid such a cool place - water, caves, iguanas and beautiful plants. Many steps to walk but it's rewarding.

This remote is filthy dirty. Not worth a visit. Instead, go to denote Maya ten kilometers south of town on the way to Cancun. Clean, good snack bar, great to swim, no vendors to hassle you.

Thank Russell H
