Visited on a Sunday and had a lovely meal. We shared a baked Brie starter which was delicious - and big! We all chose the roast beef which was delicious, lovely crispy roast potatoes too and all nicely cooked and presented. No room for pud...unfortunately! Excellent service too. Would definitely recommend.More

Randomly stopped here for food and we were not disappointed. I had the mac burger, which was soooo good and the chips were amazing too. My partner had the corn fed chicken which was beautifully cooked. The outside area was lovely and the staff were...so helpful and friendly. Would really recommend this place!!!More

Came here for lunch with family and friends including two children and two dogs. Sat outside. The waitress was incredible, so attentive and kind. Offered us bowls of water for the dogs. She was efficient and very professional as well as friendly. Blonde hair slim...girl. Thank you so much. Food was also incredible!!More

Where to start… it was a quiet Tuesday yet service was poor even though they had plenty of staff about. We had the most miserable waitress I’ve come across, no introduction, no hello & Didn’t get told about items unavailable until we tried to order...them. Nachos were ok but nothing special, very sparse on the toppings. Both our steaks were over cooked, cold & very bland including the garnishes. We were missing our sides and when we eventually got someone’s attention they told us we’d already had them… well clearly not as why would I be asking if we’d already received them. They finally arrived about 15 minutes after getting our main courses but by this point it was pointless and neither of us were in the mood to eat due to it being so bad. No check backs at any point through the meal and felt pretty neglected from start to finish, generally felt like a nuisance being there. I am from the industry and wouldn’t normally complain especially during current circumstance of how difficult things are. However, these guys are just robbing people blind. Personally I would suggest avoiding at all costs and go somewhere where you’ll be welcomed, looked after and appreciated.More

The atmosphere is nice and the place seems busy. We had Roast beef sunday lunch and it was very poor and way over priced. The beef was fatty and we were served 1 carrot each! £17-50 each! They did knock a tenner off, but dont...go here unless you have money to burn and like fatty meat. The Five Bells just up the road is way better.More

Started with a crab salad with sour dough bread. At £18 I expected a decent salad. Not about 6 rocket leaves and a few tiny pieces of tomato. Disappointed and still hungry. So selected a fruit crumble with ice cream for pudding. Crumble topping was...dark probably wholewheat flour. But it was not nice. Too much cinnamon and a bit greasy in taste. So dug out the fruit which had so much cinnamon in it that I could not eat. Actually felt a bit sick after only one spoon. This crumble was taken off the bill. Thankfully. But overall not a good meal so will not visit again.More

My husband and I had a lovely evening dining here on a Saturday night in August (2021). The service was fantastic - fast, friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was happy and upbeat. It was dry and warm so we...were able to enjoy a dink afterwards in the lovely outside area. We were particularly taken with the magical tree with all the lights. An evening we won’t forget :)More
