Called in here for lunch. Three adults, baby and dog. Very spacious inside. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Definitely call in again

Pleasant 18thC country pub by cricket field down leafy lanes. Mostly tasty grub, good atmosphere, reasonable prices. Recommended. Often used by after-funeral gatherings as it's close to Amersham Crematorium. Another mourning group each time (x5) I've called in for lunch for in past two years....More

Excellent staff and food, all home cooked. Beef rib very tender, pork, a little tougher, but overall, excellent as quality home cooked veg made up for pork issue. Starters excellent too, as was desert.

You will never be disappointed at HIT OR MISS!! we aware always welcomed by friendly staff, the food is good and service excellent. Can't fault it. Do pay them a visit.

It was my wife's birthday a couple of days ago so we went with friends to have a nice lunch.
