I have eaten lunch and dinner at Tom Yum and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The noodle dishes are particularly well done. It is always busy so you do need to book.

The waitress seemed to be friendly with certain regular customers and took their orders first, in spite of the fact that some other customers arrived earlier and were waiting patiently to order. This did appear rude in the eyes of other customers. Word of mouth...is important. It is crucial to let every customer feel that they are welcome and are treated equally. This is a constructive recommendation and hope it is taken on board.More

A wistful visit with a dear friend who lost his wife to cancer earlier this year. This was one of our favourite places as a foursome. It was heartening to see that it is still thriving. Wonderful food. We chose a mixed starter, then sweet...and sour chicken, chicken with ginger sauce and crab with green curry, along with jasmine rice and vegetable phad thai. It was as busy as it always used to be, so we had to wait a little while. However, it was worth it. We weren’t in any great hurry. Our server Caesar was very sweet. We visited Tom Yum this evening for my Birthday where as per usual we had a truly wonderful thai meal. What is refreshing about Tom Yum is it is run and owned by full on authentic thai people and the food is just superb and...it even has a photo of 'James Bond Island' of Phang Nga bay on the wall!!. To top if all off the charming waitress came from Laguna Phuket which is a place that has a very fond place in my heart. Tom Yum does everything a local restaurant should. Service is friendly and helpful with staff making time for a chat. The menu is extensive and food delicious. Spring rolls, tom yum, sticky rice and a small beer was more than enough for one person and...only came to £18.50. Highly recommended :)More

4 of us visited Tom Yum last night and were hugely impressed by the delicious food, attentive service, great ambience and value for money. Loved it. We normally have takeaways from here but we'll try to dine in more often. What lovely people!

Excellent Thai meal with authentic flavours served by friendly staff. Good value for money and the best Thai food locally.

This was our first trip to this local restaurant. The restaurant was run by a local family who were all of Thai origin. The foot and service were out of this world and it was like we were right back in Thailand. A wonderful meal!
