Stopped in for afternoon tea with a friend at 1350. Thought we found the perfect location, after all we're in The Old Tea House. The waitress took our order but when we told her we only wanted tea for now, she turned unfriendly. About 10 minutes later another lady came to us and told us it was lunchtime so we... More

I called in here earlier today for a pot of tea while shopping in Beaconsfield. It was a bleak day so I sat at a vacant table by the window. The waitress came to take my order. I only wanted a pot of tea as I was meeting a friend later for lunch. The waitress then asked if I wanted... More

This cafe is just beautiful, all old beams, oldy world charm, and a wonderful atmosphere. The food is great and we often have breakfast here. The service is usually good. It is pricey but worth it for the whole experience. It's not suitable for children as it is too small but for anyone who wants to visit the beautiful Old... More

Stepped in for a quick lunch and while the food was nice it didn't warrant the high price charged. Otherwise lively little place.

In Beaconsfield with a friend to visit a specific shop and we were pleased to find somewhere for a light lunch and a pot of tea. This sort of establishment only really exists in places like Beaconsfield these days, which is a bit of a shame, as who doesn't like tea in a pot (with hot water for top ups!),... More

The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is 'old'. If you want to be transported back to a quaint British time in yester-year then try it out. The food is fresh, but over-priced (that should be expected in Beaconsfield). The staff are friendly and attentive. The cream tea with fresh scones is lovely. The average age group on a typical... We visited the Old Tea House for a breakfast with two children. Most tables are tiny - best suited for two people. When we asked to be moved to a larger table (the only one in the room), which seemed appropriate, as the cafe was virtually empty, we were faced with an abrupt 'No!' from a waitress. Apparently, that table... More

Visited here today. Had a super coffee and snack which was homemade. The only reason I have given three stars is that there were two "business type" people in there loudly talking constantly on mobile phones. Additionally they had their bags and lap tops spread all over the place. This is a beautiful, English olde world tea shop spoilt by... More

Attending a course today and was looking for somewhere for lunch not too far away. This was perfect. Lovely home made soup and a bacon and avocado sandwich. The menu has lots to offer and we were really tempted to come back for tea and cake or scone later. Iron discipline set us for home, but we will be back.
