I had the best Chicken Dansak last night it truly was delicious. I’ve been a customer of the Restaurant for over 20 years.
I called in on my way home from a very busy day at work the greeting always warm and friendly.
A coffee was offered while I waited a very short time, while it was freshly prepared by the Chef. Often I have eaten there solo and truly great experience of excellent service and ambience.

Although we live around a 3 hour drive away, this is our second visit to Mahabharat within 12 months. The service is excellent, the restaurant is cosy, the menu is extensive, and the food... Well, the food is first class. The dishes here really remind us of our travels in India, and portions are generous. The flavours are wonderful and the description of level of spiciness is accurate. The nan bread is amazing. We enjoyed the best Peshwari nan we have ever had!
An added bonus is that there is a small car park with free parking (after 5pm) right opposite.
A big thank you to all the staff!!

We had an amazing meal at this cosy curry house where we were greeted with open arms. The brilliant customer service continued throughout which made the food taste even better. The best peshwari naan we have ever had - very fluffy, soft and filled to the brim with coconut. Both of our currys and the mixed kebab starter were exceptional too. We will be back!

Spent £79 on a meal for two adults and two kids. The food was bland and tasteless and was not fresh.
We ordered vegetable vegetable samosas that had clearly been reheated from frozen and arrived fridge level cold in the middle. No mention of taking them off the bill despite waiting 10 minutes for them to be properly reheated.
I'm a prolific curry-eater and this is one of the worst curry dining experiences I've had. Avoid.

Best Indian iv been to, not sure how its only rated 4*. Id give it a 5* every time i go. They do vegetable or quorn with their curries which is great for vegetarians like myself. I usually take-away but its always a nice atmosphere when I'm waiting and staff are really nice.

Always excellent with a great welcome from Ali and the team. Plenty of choice on the menu. The food is excellent and advice is on hand to explore the menu further. Chicken tikka garlic and chicken makani are particular favourites. Aways a regular port of call when in Winslow.

This was the first time we have used Mahabharat since moving to Winslow. Ordered a takeaway and we were all impressed with the quality of the food provided. Plenty of choice and food was ready on time. We will order again.

A December Tuesday night, ordered online, delivery not available. Ready for collection within a couple of minutes of guide time. Reasonably priced. One chicken dansak and a biryani with naan, paratha etc. Ample sized portions and filling on a very cold night but nothing special.

Best place to visit for a curry in Winslow. The food is always amazing and some different dishes I haven’t seen before which are now my favourites. The staff are so friendly and helpful which always makes the night so enjoyable. Can’t wait to visit again

This was an absolute gem, the food is fantastic freshly made and we hit the jackpot dining here. We were looked after by Ali who went above and beyond to help us. Extreemy friendly, happy and we met another lovely couple had fun laughs and an incredible meal. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Winslow and surrounding areas.
You will not regret this choice.

Here from London for the F1 and stopped in Winslow on way home. Had a delicious curry and such friendly service from Ali. Would definitely eat here again. Such a cute town as well. Highly recommend!

Came across this restaurant on our way back from Silverstone. Staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly.
Food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Had the chicken pathia vindaloo hot was perfect 1st time to this Indian restaurant and the staff was so friendly can not fault this restaurant if I was in this part of the world again I would not esitate to return thank you for a lovely evening.
