Long queue at the bar for a drink to then browse a very basic “saver” menu with the likes of chicken burger and lasagne on it for 5-8 pounds. Waited an hour for worse than average food; burnt burger bun, overcooked lasagne. Nice setting and...More

We’ve visited this charming pub for several years, but in the last few months there has been a change of management, and with it, a change in the quality of the food and the general ambience. It used to be the perfect venue for some...More

We stopped in for lunch and had 4 different dinners with mixed reviews. Firstly there wasn't any steak available and no crumble for pudding. The roast pork was really nice well cooked. The gammon was also nice, tasty with an egg, chips and peas, again...More

The Ferryboat has suffered some upheaval, staffing & management-wise. Do hope it settles properly soon. Food quality varies but coffee machine is mended now. Friendly staff but not every woman likes to be addressed as ‘my lovely’!

Very disappointed. On arrival at 6pm as per our booking, our table wasn’t ready even though we were put in an almost empty function room as the main restaurant was full. This room was dirty, with clumps of mud on the already grimy carpet. It...More

Their menu should be on their web site but they also have special offers, well worth the visit to just see the Inn and surrounding area and have a meal while visiting
