Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was told great things about Bohemia but I really wasn’t that impressed. Arrived before 11am. No tables available. A good sign? However, no one really took care of us. We just had to hang around and wait. No updates, we weren’t offered a seat,...given menus to read ahead of being shown to a table and no offers of a drink. None of the waiting staff wore smiles on the day and everyone came across quite grumpy and uninterested. We were eventually seated but again not given menus and no drinks orders taken. The young lady that served us did attempt a smile but there was no interaction apart from writing down the order. No recommendations or chat, just scribbling in the note book. Drinks and food arrived in an acceptable time so that was appreciated at the time we arrived. The quality of the ingredients was more greasy spoon than upmarket brunch spot. The hash brown and black pudding which I paid extra for were dry and overcooked. The beans again overcooked and the bacon was cheap and the fat not rendered. The saving Grace was the sausage. It was of good quality but that’s really it. I’m moving to the area so will be trying most places over the coming months but I’m not sure I’ll hurry back here.More

This is a great little cafe/restaurant on the high street, which we've stopped at a few times when travelling to Norfolk. Great menu, delicious food, and cosy ambience and decor. Staff are friendly and offer excellent service.

On a trip back from Dunstable one morning, a friend and I were on the look out for somewhere for a decent breakfast. My friend found Bohemia via an online search. On arrival the staff were friendly and looked out for a table for us...given the restaurant was full when we arrived. We were seated in no time, and it was a lovely place by the window. There were so many choices on the menu! Our choices arrived fairly quickly given the place was packed and the friendly staff had warned us there might be a bit of a wait. A lovely place. Do visit!More

Not being from the area, this was a first time visit. Tapas is not my first choice when looking to dine out, but the restaurant was booked by friends so we went with it. The food was very very good and exceeded expectations. There were...no bad dishes, but the best dishes were Thai Satay Broccoli Triple cooked chips Prawn and Chorizo croquettes Sea Bass tacos A special Beef dish The service was great despite being busy and the atmosphere fun. I did speak to the owner/chef later and he was clearly someone that enjoyed his work which shone through in the experience. Thanks to all the Bohemia team for a lovely evening.More

Firstly I want to highlight that the food was tasty and in line with what you’d expect for fried tapas. I have eaten at Bohemia during the day a few times and will go back, but did not feel the evening menu/tapas wasn’t great value,...especially if you compare it to the daytime menu, which is fabulous. I get tapas is about small dishes, but there is a balance vs the price. For example, cod bites at £8.50 was 6 popcorn sized bits of fried cod, tasty, but expensive. Maybe we were just unlucky. Tender stem was the same however, three stems for c£7. The service is friendly but the team were really busy. That meant service was slow, over 20 minutes wait for the first drinks order. The team were apologetic however, and were clearly doing their best. The food was brought out as and when, we’d get a dish, then maybe have a 25 minute wait for the next. It was all hot and the sauces and seasoning made the basic dishes tasty. If I was to go back of an evening however, I would allow 2.5 hours plus based on this experience. We narrowly avoided having to sit directly in front (less than 1.5m ) from the opening of single toilet door. I felt sorry for the next couple who did get it, and heard them asking to be moved too. We had booked a fair way in advance too. I get times are difficult for businesses, and you need to make the most of the space. but this wasn’t a nice place to sit. Especially when people started waiting outside of it to go in. Thankfully a member of staff moved them over to another toilet. 7 dishes oftapas and a couple of drinks came to about £85. We had one dish refunded for to it not arriving and us running out of time. We will definitely go back at some point to see if we had just picked a difficult night, but I much prefer the daytime Menu.More

After my recent diagnosis of Coeliac disease I always get anxious about dining out with the risk of cross contamination and also not wanting to annoy staff members Me and me friend were served by Josie last night and she was SO lovely and SO...accommodating!! She reassured me that the kitchen would try their best to cook everything separately- and without me having to ask she made sure to bring out the food on different plates to prevent cross contamination again, and apart from anything else was absolutely lovely. I’ve never felt so reassured and looked after when going out for dinner and it really made my night!!! Thank you, Josie!!! She’s a real credit to your teamMore

I visited here for the first time with friends and was immediately impressed by the cosy decor and the friendly greeting from front of house. Great choice of breakfast food/drinks with a lot of variety. I really enjoyed the breakfast tacos. Presentation of both the...food and drinks was beautifully put together Service was excellent from start to finish, lovely staff all round. Would highly recommend and will be sure to visit again in the future.More

Just had tea and coffee with a friend very pleased they offer dairy free alternative milk. Lovely service from Nathan, Danielle and Charlotte. Warm enough to sit outside which was great for a catch up but they have plenty of indoor seating if you prefer.
