Set in the picturesque village of Offord D'Arcy between St Neots and Godmanchester, The Horseshoe successfully combines an old village pub and a gourmet restaurant. Known locally as The 'Shoe, the Grade 2 listed 395-year old period building has been extended but retains its original features and charm. The bars offer both low ceilings and rustic style, with exposed beams and Inglenook real fireplaces, whereas the restaurant has a part vaulted ceiling and a more recent design. The frequently changing menu allows you to experience internationally influenced dishes as well as the best of British cuisine. Dishes…

We had no idea a take out Sunday lunch could be so good. We’ve eaten at the Shoe scores of times & their Sunday carvery is to die for. But take out seemed a risk. Not a bit of it. We had beef, or better...More
If you’re an English rugby fan sharing my frustration this evening, order a takeaway from the ‘Shoe’!
It won’t change the result, but it will add some positivity to your Saturday night!
Just had the burger with Pulled Pork, followed by the Fig and Honey...More

Very sorry about this. New member of staff not quite as polished as we usual! Menus are destroyed after you have used them for obvious reasons. So normally 2 menus between 4. The wine list an aberration I’m afraid.
Very glad you enjoyed our food....More

Very many thanks for taking the time to endorse us. Your compliments are very much appreciated.
Covid precautions here were excellent. Tables were well screened. Our party of ten were catered for on two tables in the same section. It felt a bit do it yourself, in that we had to pass our plated food from a trolley to each other...More

Sincere thanks for your review. For us also, it’s nice to be back after 4 months. We worked hard on getting the COVID 19 precautions right. With so many differing opinions we tried to cover it all. Thus the trolley service to your table. It...More

Sincere thanks for your feedback. It really helps during this difficult time.
Have been to this restaurant a few times and have always been impressed with the food. The portions are good, the price is reasonable, and the service staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for both intimate dinners or holding group gatherings!
We went as families with kids and found it really friendly. Especially as there is an outside play area too. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was above average for a pub and the price was fair, so we would certainly recommend!
