I am very happy to be writing the first review for The Cat, which is my favourite local pub in my hometown! It has been through many changes and over the last year or so, the changes made by the two amazing landladies, have made...it absolutely great for a night out/a day watching sport/a quick drink/etc! The atmosphere is friendly and fun! The bar staff are all great and are lovely regardless of the time you go in: night or day; weekend or weekday. Moire recently, I popped in midweek with my brother for a few drinks and it was just great - the beer garden even had a speaker close by, so we could hear the footie (Leeds and Derby) My gin and tonics were amazingly presented! I might be biased because I am a local and it has enabled my lovely father-in-law to have a social circle finally after many years of not having one since moving from Kent but I have introduced many friends to The Cat and they all agree that it is AMAZING!
