The pub desperately needed a lick of paint and a bit of TLC but they have gone to far and totally destroyed a village pub atmosphere.

We came to the Cotton Arms during a night out and found the pub quite welcoming. Too late for food but stay was ok. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Big screen TV in the vault for sport and a pool table.

We called at lunchtime midweek and the pub was quite. We ate off the lunchtime menu and the Chicken Ham and leek pie was home made and very filling. My wife had the burger which again was excellent. Hope to go again in near future

This is a cosy pub with a good selection of beers and a typical pub menu. The wife’s fish and chips were superb and my angus burger with chilli con carne was exceptional. Great pub with friendly staff.

Lovely canal and 2 pubs and a village shop so no need to walk to civilisation! Town too far.

We are a 2 minute walk from the canal and dogs are allowed as long as they are on leads.
