Visited a couple of times during the last few weeks and found the food good and reasonably priced. Something a little different on the menu. The staff are very pleasant. The hotel had obviously had a recent refurb ....with great success. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely surroundings, service staff polite and attentive. Food well presented and appetising however the pattie was bland and only redembed by the variety of tasty chutneys. The flat mushrooms and sauce was exceptional.

What a gem of a place this is. Right out in the wilds of rural Cheshire which probably only the locals know about. Even on a mid-week lunchtime the place was buzzing and having tasted the food I can understand why. Excellent varied menu using...More
