First visit to this fabulous local pub. What a find! Great hospitality from the lovely Emma and her team. Great ales and the best home made beef and ale pie with triple cooked chips. Best lunch out have had in a very long time. I will be back again very soon. Thanks Emma.

My wife and myself visited the Wickstead arms for the first time at a Saturday lunch time. The food was home cooked and very good. Portion sizes are not huge but prices are reasonable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, clearly all very involved in providing a good experience. A selection of four local beers was on offer, plus... More

We had a lovely family Sunday lunch here recently. Emma's team provided quick and friendly service, the menu was varied, the food was fresh and home cooked, with generous portions. We will definitely be back soon.

We had never been to Nantwich so the wife said we would go for the day, for lunch we called in the above pub ,and ordered the ham, egg, chips and pea's. It was not what was expected they must cook a lot of chips at one time then reheat them when needed ,the pea's seemed to be reheated also, there was plenty... More

Myself and my mum decided to have a relaxing lunch. We were delighted with our generous bowl of steaming homemade carrott and coriander soup , on the side a thick slice of fresh crusty bread and best butter. I had a mature cheese and onion sandwich on fresh wholemeal bread. Followed by a large pot of tea with cups and... More

Popped in here for random Saturday afternoon rare "swift half" with family on the way back from battle of Nantwich. Great friendly and efficient service, decent range of real ales, football results on quietly. Who could ask for more!

Well after following the signs to the pub that stated food was being served. We then found a table and chose our food. Once we were queueing up to order our food it was a customer that said "you don't want food do you" I said yes and was then told by the same customer, "they only served lunch at... More

Many apologies for the inconvenience caused that evening. Due to the kitchen assistant leaving with only a weeks notice we have not filled the position yet for evening meals. However our chef is still serving meals 7 days a week at lunch times. The signs with our original service times on have been covered or removed where possible. Evening meals... More
