All reviews steak sea bass skewers flatbread sunday roast pies soup salmon pudding great meal lovely food red cabbage lovely evening varied menu cooked to perfection staff were attentive front of house
We visited recently for a meal on a Saturday. The staff were attentive and friendly plus the atmosphere was lovely. The food was ok to be honest….the bread roll that was served with he muscles was uncooked but the team were quick to get a...replacement. Also the sauce was little bland. The steak pie was great but the salmon a little over cooked.
It would be great if a wider range of alcohol free/low alcohol drinks could be available.More
Absolutely faultless food. We enjoyed the garlic prawn and garlic mushroom starter followed by the chicken tagliatteli and steak burger. Service was 100% from all the young ladies, a credit to the restaurant. Lovely setting and artifacts to look at.
Went for a quick bite before the opening night of the Nantwich Music Festival. Really tasty good value food in a dining room packed with atmosphere. Looking forward to returning soon and giving the menu a bit more attention. Risotto and pasta excellent. Service efficient.
Really outstanding food. Can’t remember the last time I saw a menu, was so spoilt for choice, and will come again and order exactly the same. Feta cheese, red onion and balsamic flat bread and king prawn linguini. Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival
Came today for a birthday lunch and the five of us were extremely disappointed. The fish was so greasy and had barely any fish in it just over friend greasy rock hard batter. Brie on bacon and Brie sandwich was vile, cheap white bread that...was rock hard. Chips pale and barely cooked. Waitress took forever to bring the last plate and then only half cleared the table. They’ve completely given up, it used to be lovely. Would not go again.More
