When the waiter told us there was only one portion of garden peas left (at 6pm) I did become a little concerned! Food was average with little to attract anyone concerned about calories. Although staff were friendly and we mentioned it was a friends birthday no fuss was made (unlike say an Italian restaurant) and they were unable to find... More

My family and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and I have to say this pub does the best roast dinner ever. Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. The kids food was great too, plus they ate for free! The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive, they really couldn't do enough for us. The food... More

Went to the windmill for a Sunday dinner with family as we had been told how good it was, it did not disappoint. I had a turkey dinner and other family members ordered from the lunch menu and couldn't fault it, the portions where great, left feeling very full. Staff were very helpful and happy, couldn't do enough for you.... More

Clean pub. Family friendly with both high chair and kids menu. And also good selection of drinks and desserts. Could take a woman on a date here.

My wife and I had been out driving in Cheshire and wanted somewhere to eat. We've eaten here a couple of times before and enjoyed good food. Just off the M6 at Junction 19, this is a great place to stop off to break a journey. There is a varied menu, the surroundings are good and the staff are helpful.... More

We visited here yesterday for a large family meal (there were twelve of us total) for celebration lunch. The food cannot be faulted, plenty of it and very well prepared. The staff friendly and very helpful. We will be back!

Visited as half way to a night out at Manchester. Ample parking at the rear and made welcome on entering. Decent menu and very pleased with the sausage and mash x2 and the delicious crispy lamb chops. Really nice home made chips also! The staff were very friendly which always helps.

8 of us dined here Friday at 7pm - without wasting my time on all the faults. The food was mediocre, the hosting from the staff was appalling, never been to dine at a place where it felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there! Not a single smile from any of the staff towards us. The place was... More
