Esposito's coffee is always on point and is the perfect reward after a long walk around the park. You can't beat freshly ground Italian coffee. They have a variety of plant milks to choose from, which is why I continue to go back :)

In a lovely location in Victoria Park. The inside seating area is closed at the moment but you can order to take away and there are plenty of seats around the park to sit on especially when the weather in nice. They are really busy when the weather in nice but worth the wait as the service is efficient, the staff are friendly and their prices are reasonable. Worth a visit if you're in the park or in the area.

I came here with my grandson, we shared doorstep toast which was delicious and the staff were very friendly, helpful and it has a good atmosphere too highly recommend 👍

Victoria Park is my go to place for a family walk and we always call in Esposito's for something to eat or an ice cream. We queued ( not a problem ) got to the front and placed our order and paid, just after we paid my friend asked if she could also order a coffee , the member of staff serving us said she need her breath " for fcuk sake" I couldn't believe it and actually questioned her , she said she never said it but I'm not stupid. I know what I heard. I get it's busy and I know it's not easy dealing with customers but this was really poor and unprofessional.

Queues for ages. 2 speeds, slow and stop. Spend my life queuing in this place for drinks. Loads of staff stood about playing with their hair so not very hygienic. The place needs re modelling with a separate counter for ice creams to speed up the service. The food is limited, pre prepared and cheese with everything it seems.

If you like to watch a dog chewing on it's crotch whilst you try and enjoy your spiced latte, this is the place for you.
The hygiene is questionable.
The floors, tables, toilet are filthy.
The ice cream cones were stale.
Loads of staff stood round doing naff all!
I've been going to Esposito's for the last 8 years, never again!

One of the worst cafes I have ever been to.
Table wasn’t cleared from previous customers. Their dirty plates and cups were still there when we left!
Had to wait in line for 40 mins only for the order to be wrong. Felt sorry for a few other customers who had drink orders forgotten about.
Do yourself a favour and avoid and enjoy the park instead

We are very sorry to hear of your bad experience. Sunday was a very challenging day for us, we have been extremely short staffed due to covid meaning a lot of our members of staff that day were either new or not as experienced as others, this is not an excuse but just an insight into why you may not have experienced our usual service. We will pass your feedback onto the manager and look into making improvements to avoid this happening again. As you can see from our other reviews this is not our usual standard and we apologise again and hope you give us another chance. Thank you for taking to time to let us know of your experience, we appreciate all reviews good and bad as they help us to make constant

I love this place, but the amount of dog sitting in there with their owners is very off putting and unhygienic. It quite clearly says no dogs outside. I want to enjoy my pumpkin latte whilst not watching someone else's dog licking and chewing on their own crotch. Leave it outside, it's animal!!!!

We visit every Sunday and in the week sometimes. The food and drinks are great and the staff are really friendly. We are delighted that you now allow dogs into part of the cafe too.

We have been using this cafe for a few years but since they have officially allowed in dogs we are looking to go elsewhere. I have also seen staff members come out to feed dogs with treats stroke them then go back into the kitchen without hand washing. There doesn’t seem to be any escape from dogs these days worrying if you are allergic

Its my first time visiting & I think it’s a disgrace they don’t have anything on there menu with brown bread, I have a medical complaint, meaning I can’t eat white bread, I won’t be going again that’s for sure .

Coffee is good although expensive but the staff are useless !!!
They stand & look at you whilst completing other orders never acknowledging you & run around like a load of headless chickens pretending to be busy with absolutely no leadership visible.

After participating in the weekly Widnes Parkrun I thought I would reward myself with a Cappuccino which sadly tasted a bit too watery for my liking, I will come back and try a cup of tea instead. Staff seem nice and it’s got a lovely view of the bandstand so will return for the birthday parkrun in January.
