Non op at present still has stunning views and a huge car park. Popular place for hardy cyclists to stop and get their breath

We used to pass this place and always wanted to stop but were so disappointed when we did. Poor service, poor/lack of a decent menu and food. Messy, dirty. Shocking that the owners don't do more with it and take visitors for granted.

Such a shame it burned down early in 2018. It would be good if it could be rebuilt but we'll have to see what the owners decide what to do. What a pity ☹

I have never known it to be closed but obviously if the weather is bad (i.e. inches of snow) then you probably won't be able to get there yourself - and if you can't I suspect the staff wouldn't either e.g the road may be... More
