I cannot recommend this place enough. Of everywhere we have visited, L'Enclume has surpassed all so far. We booked the package which included two nights stay with breakfast each day, a three course meal at Rogan and Co and Tasting Menu at L'Enclume. I would...More

What an experience! Course after course of beautifully presented food, fabulous knowledgeable, friendly staff. Personally I probably think Rogan & Co it's sister restuarant was my favourite because you could make your own menu choices but L'enclume and Cartmel is a definite destination for foodies...More

This is our second time at L’eclume and once again it did not disappoint! This place is a touch of unpretentious class. My husband and I visited just before my second child was due to be born as a mini moon. The food was exceptional,...More

An amazing place to visit. The food not only tastes great, but looks amazing too. Our favourites were the whey onion and ragstone pie; the mackerel with tomato and rosehip; and the apple marigold nougatine sandwich. The only exception to the delightful meal was the...More

It’s taken us years to finally get our act together and make the journey to Lenclume. Were pleased that we finally made it! We booked a stay in one of their rooms and even enjoyed lunch at Rogan & Co. Overall it was a superb...More

Dined here with friends for our annual Christmas outing and was so disappointed. Had the 15 course taster menu which all of us agreed was definitely not worth the money. Out of all the 15 courses only 2 stood out the others being tasteless or...More

I think we got 8 or 9 glasses in total? Decent measures - and about right! We had the cheese course - and the extra wine pairing. Another 3 glasses!

Jfk 44 isn’t talking sense. As for cost, it really depends on your choices, especially Wine. Just give them a call, they’re used to giving guideline prices.
