The food is always excellent here

Every time we visit the food is excellent! As is the service. There's a wide range of items on their menu. Nobody makes omelettes as good as this cafe. The cakes looked good, but sadly we didn't have room to try them.

Beautiful food and service!

Friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in, drinks and food came out within 15 minutes and they were delicious!! I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone!! Thank you!

A popular cafe in Sedburgh.

Had a bite to eat here while on a cycle ride in the Lakes. We left the bikes opposite on a cycle rail. Don’t lean your bikes on the window frames. Noted. It is a small cafe - 26 covers. However we got a table and we’re served promoting and politely. The coffees were lovely as was the soup. The Bacon and Brie sandwiches were just what was needed. Finished off with one of the best Bakewell cakes in the area! Many thanks.

Great cafe

My wife and I called in here a couple of days ago for lunch and the food was fantastic, way above average cafe food, really fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and really good value for money. If you are in the area then give it a try, my only regret is we don't live anywhere near or this would be a regular visit !

A Sedbergh gem

Dropped by mid-morning on Sunday. Friendly service, good coffee, lovely eggs. This is an unpretentious, well-run family affair which I wish I could visit more often.

Outstanding customer service, outstanding food and outstanding prices. Only shame is we only found it on our way home from a weekend visit. If you are in the Dent/Sedburgh area, it’s a must for breakfast or lunch.

Amazing , try the hot chocolate

Amazing cafe, the full English is amazing and the hot chocolate with all the trimmings is incredible. During a cold and snowy stay , this place really warmed us up and set us up for the day.

Horrible rude woman and slow service, rude when we came in, made us clear are own table, it took the food about 40 mins to come, might as-well have gone to spar and bought my own cheese and ham to make a panini

When you came in all 7 of you sat yourselves on a dirty table that hadn’t been cleared. Our sofas only seat 4 people but you all squeezed on. We have a sign that asks you to please wait to be seated. You never had to clear your own table at all! Our waitress couldn’t reach the plates etc on your table as there was so many of you so she had to ask for your help in passing the plates over. She also asked you all to in the future if you could please wait at the sign to be seated and a table would be cleared ready for you. We time our food orders your food took 25 minutes not 40 minutes. Reviews like this can be damaging to our business, I guess that was the point in writing this.
