This bakery has quickly become a regular for us. The food is so good and is great value for money. After moving from Bristol and spoilt for choice of amazing food we were worried we wouldn't find anywhere as cheap and tasty as Bagel Boy but this place is fab. They have hot, cold, big, small, sweet, savoury + hot/cold... More

Sourdough bread was incredible, pheasant n cranberry sausage rolls superb and the fruit scones were fantastic, not the cheapest bakery shop but one of the better ones.

I'm not a big lover of bread, absolutely detest white bread. However, these breads are so much nicer, tasty and crusty. My wife enjoyed the cake she got as well. Bread makes lovely bacon sarnies !

Wilfs too busy and not on a par with this place. Superb coffee , real bread and super sandwiches. Excellent service only hampered by a lack of space. Cakes and bread are wonderful We will be back

Had the soup beef goulash. tasted burnt, watery and beef was really tough. Also noticed that the bread is not fresh with the soup. Rather dry and stale.

We were advised to go here while in the area and it didn't disappoint. Managed to get seats which was great as it meant we could really enjoy our sandwiches and cakes. Had the halloumi and homous sandwich and my husband had the pulled pork - the staff were happy to make these to spec. I couldn't decide on cake... More

What a gorgeous little place. The ideal pit stop. We sat outside with our little Dog who was made every friendly. Other half got his breakfast sandwich on beautiful bread and I got a divine latte with a delicious almond croissant. Something to suit everyone. Bread and cakes and delicious treats galore. We will be visiting again on our way... More

We have visited this bakery several times over a couple of years. The selection of bread, pastries and other delicious things, including soup and excellent coffee means that there is something for everyone. Some of the breads include lovely ingredients. We decided to try something different and had the loaf that had garlic and cheese. Almond croissants were also amazing.... More

Just across the road from the excellent Hawkshead Brewery. We bought a selection of bread and savoury snacks ready to refuel post hike and all were delicious. Highly recommended!
