We stopped by More? before going for a nearby walk and we were very glad we did! Really tasty and fresh food. We had a vegan sausage roll and the Titanic Breakfast Muffin, as well as a chai iced latte - all supremely tasty.

Regular visitor, everything is so delicious and great quality! I don’t agree with any of the poor customer service/speed reviews on here, I visit weekly and service is always very good even when busy which is often! Favourite thing to have are the staveley fried...chicken, danish pastry and titanic muffin! So happy this is on my doorstep.More

Stopped by for brunch. Really good coffee and lovely pastry’s! A slight wait but it was ok as they were very busy. Glad the weather was great so we could sit outside.

Just off Staveley's main street, this bakery does good business, and the quality of the food is excellent. Our bacon baps were very tasty and thickly cut. Very enjoyable.

Coffee was excellent, and we chose the titanic roll. Bacon , flat sausage, rosti, fried egg and chilli jam. Wow Service was good.

The coffee did not disappoint, we were regular visitors during our trip to the lakes and certainly can't complain about the food or coffee. Eggs on toast and pastries were great, they know how to do scrambled eggs! Didn't try them but a veritable selection...of different loaves to take away. The lunchtime savoury food looked really nice too. Only let down by dirty highchair that was given to us (hoped they'd clean the tray between uses!) And the average service from some staff. Some were super friendly and enthusiastic, others couldn't even raise a smile and lacked enthusiasm and barked Ur order when they called Ur name to collect your drink if u didn't jump to it and get it instantly! Little bit weird they don't tell u to collect drinks rather than it being table service....how r u going to know when you've never been before?! Having said that I go there for coffee so can tolerate their staff!More

Top notch lunch and coffee. Great bread, burgers, loaded fries coffee and cake. Highly recommended. Don't understand the negative stuff. Nicest place we went to in our trip

I’ll start by saying the bread and rolls are great. However, the terrible service have tipped the scales for me… if you are going in for hot food or a take away, I would avoid!! Waited 30 mins for a takeaway roll, it eventually arrived...and was the wrong order. Not the first time. Unfortunately customer service has gone down hill A LOT. Quite a few staff standing around doing nothing. Eventually got the roll another 20 mins later and it wasn’t great. (Used to be my favourite) Will not be back which is a shame. Plenty of other nice places to go so I really wouldn’t waste your time here!More

Truly awful customer service! We have visited on many occasions before but sadly won't be returning. Ordered a cheese & onion pie which arrived with a soggy bottom & overwhelming taste of mustard. I politely explained to the lady serving and asked if I could...possibly exchange it for a sausage roll (I didn't ask for a refund)...she went to ask the manager(who didn't appear!) & came back to relay the message that "the best we can do is offer 20% off a sausage roll" really disappointed with such dreadful customer service. There are much better places in Kendal that I will stick to in future.More

Visited today for a simple lunch but what a disappointment. We ordered a sandwich and a soup. The place was relatively quiet at 2pm but we waited ages , no one seemed at all concerned even when we asked where our food was. Eventually tge...sandwich was put on the hatch and we noted it waiting to be brought over, so we asked. My soup was eventually brought out after I asked 3 times but it was cold. I returned it and asked fir my money back. Tge problem was that no one seemed to care and no one took any responsibility. We won't be visiting again, there are better options in Kendal.More

Cannot praise highly enough. Excellent coffee and pastries, we didn’t have breakfast but they looked fabulous.

A delightful pitstop on our southwards journey. I look to coming back soon! Excellent in all regards.
