Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Been here with family on a few occasions, we generally come for dinner, always welcomed with a smile. The food is lovely, especially the build your own burger and my daughter loves the build your own pizza. We will be back for more food 😋

Food was nice…. When we eventually got it 2 hours we waited then eventually when they got round to do our order they told us they didn’t have enough burgers never asked how we wanted our stake cooked or gave us a stake knife so...had to hack at it with a butter knife no sauces with the stake. So then we had to wait another 10 min for them to cook it. They never offered us a free drink or anything for our wait. It’s a good job we were just passing by and we won’t be back.More

This is our weekly meal out since the new owners took over. The food is all cooked to a very good standard. We had cheeseboard quiche chips and lovely salad £9.95. (Really good value) Desserts raspberry and gin cheesecake + strawberry and pruseco roulade both...were beautiful. There is a vast menu with regular changing special board.More

Ordered Sunday lunch it came and was cold . The roast potatoes looked like boiled potatoes, sent it back and ordered off the light bites menu quiche and chips. The quiche was like warm, lady behind the bar was really apologetic.More

Lovely place with a great atmosphere! Came with my partner and two dogs, it’s very dog friendly and they even provide a small doggy menu which was a lovely touch, we got them both some chicken each, which came in a little dog bowl! We...both got food, chicken curry and lasagna, both great portions and delicious! Friendly staff too!More

We just had a great meal here. It's one of the nicest steaks I've had in a long time. Like others have said, the portions are good, and the price is good. I spoke to the Cook, and I had to put him right he...was a chef with the food he just served. Thank you.More

My wife and I stopped off for dinner and we were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food itself was home cooked and portion size was also very big. Its great value for money and somewhere I would go back to...eat if in the area.More

Great to see the Greyhound busy again. Enjoyed the beer and sausage festival last weekend. Had a meal tonight. Food was great and a reasonable price. We had not booked but fitted us in. Great staff and service.

A cracking pub with a good range of ales and food. My girlfriend has a dairy intolerance and often finds eating out a fairly boring experience due to limited menus, however the vast majority of food here is suitable for her diet and is really...tasty; the portions large and prices perfectly judged. As an real ale bore I love that their beers are spot on and those working there take an interest in keeping it well and having variety. If a pub doesn’t have good beer it doesn’t have anything and I’m very pleased to say this place has it in bucket loads. Top notch.More

Disappointed. Turned up at 12.35 on a Saturday lunchtime and found it shut despite the advertised opening times. Was really looking forward to trying here for food and it even had a sign saying open as usual despite the roadworks
