We visited today as part of a large group (about 20 of us) for lunch. The pub was cosy, warm and welcoming. We were all seated together in an area at the back on two long tables and were very comfortable. The food was amazing. It was all beautifully presented and obviously made with the finest of ingredients. It was our... More

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday evening while on holiday in the area. The food was really good. Excellent food and beer, even when the pub was full on a Friday evening, the food was delivered quickly and well cooked. The staff had a smile and made us all most welcome. We enjoyed it some much we came back the following evening - I even had the same dish, it was great again! We will be back!

We were renting south from Dovedale. Our lunch was first class, the service was friendly and very efficient. As we had our dog we sat outside and still received first class attention.

I was recently in Derbyshire with my partner and, whilst there, we paid the latest of a few visits to the Coach and Horses. As had happened previously we were made most welcome in this cosy, traditional pub. Having got our drinks at the bar we went through into an adjoining room where we had a table booked. My partner... Last week we dined there for 3 nights during our stay in Derbyshire. On each occasion we really enjoyed the food, and Wendy who looked after us was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Also very helpful re Gluten Free Food.
