Me and the misses visited on a Monday after a Heavy weekend on the ale. Walked in staff was welcoming. Seen a Barnsley chop on the menu (not seen for years) mrs had steak and mushroom pie. Food was decent and reasonable priced. Enjoyed the decor nice to see royal crown derby, nice touch of class. Will visit again

I have been coming here with my family for years. The setting is lovely and cosy and the food is always good, great choice of pub classics for lunch or dinner. Average prices.

Stopped here while passing through for an evening meal. Staff very welcoming, which you don't often get in village pubs when your not local. Lovely food well presented and cooked to perfection. Roaring fires make it cosy and atmospheric.
