Dropped in here while stopping at the Travelodge nearby. Didn’t eat but must say the staff were so friendly and attentive. A great setting for a walk around Ashbourne. I’ll come again. Young Dutch guy couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks

Didn’t eat here, but the service was excellent, really helped my disabled husband drinks carry the drinks, and cocktails were very enjoyable.

I have used this pub many times in past few years and found it satisfactory, but last night the meal we were served was very poor. Starters were drab and overcooked. Main course of roast chicken was dry and overcooked. Mint tea was served in...More

Mappleton restaurant that is dog friendly, whatever its size, is the Okeover Arms, if the Stepping Stones outdoor area is not suitable due to weather or temperature conditions.

What did they say? I find that even as a regular I am greeted with sour faces and bad attitudes. I think the staff need to be provided with more well-being and support if the job is so bad they take it out on customers.
