Having seen the cafe on a dog-friendly website we popped in for coffee and toasted teacake and received a great welcome. They are obviously popular with locals and holiday-makers alike and we can understand why!

Happened on this gem on a wander around Ashbourne and what a great find! From the bottomless teapots to the loveliest scones we've had in ages and really friendly staff. Well worth a visit for the teas and lunches and the great art.

We found our way to the gallery as many of the other cafes were full. This turned out to be a great blessing. The prices seemed to be on the expensive side but when we received our dishes we realised they were well worth it....More

Spoilt for choice here, with a select menu. Best way to get half of your 10 a day, with the lovely salads. Great coffee choice, too. Love the relaxed ambience and spacious layout. Only drawback is the stairs to get up there!
