Good lively atmosphere but most of all excellent food. All of our party commented on how good the food was which between us was varied.

Visited here again and never disappointed. The tastes of each dish are always distinctive and flavoursome. The depth of flavour in the lamb rogan josh was real and full. The North Indian garlic chicken that is my wifes favourite dish was again full of taste and flavour. This is not your typical curry house but the top of the tree.... More

We have eaten here both as a couple and also with our 4 children aged between 8 and 13. The price is very reasonable. Remember to bring your own alcohol - soft drinks are of course available. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the kitchen. We feel welcomed both when just the two of... More

Having been here a regular from day 1, you cannot criticise 1 element about the place and find some reviews hard to believe. Yes sometimes busy and slow service. But to me a busy restaurant means a good restaurant. For 2 starters, 2 specials for mains , 1 rice, 1 chips and 1 naan. Quality food and all for under... More

The staff are always friendly, and willing to recommend meals based on other things you have liked in the past. The food is always good and it's very reasonably priced especially as you take your own alcohol. Had a lamb Clay Pot this time around and it was superb, as was my friend's fish on spinach & onion (recommended by... More

Good food, good service, take your own alcohol so a cheap meal, good vegetarian options. Basic surroundings but decent for a mid-range Indian

The restaurant has a wide selection on it's menu and to date, every dish I've tried has been superb and different to the others. There's none of the 'one pan of curry with extra's added to order' going on here, each dish has evidently been cooked to order from scratch. They taste fantastic. Service at the Bengal Blues is always... More

This is my favourite sit down indian in belper. An absolute bonus that they dont sell alcohol but you can take your own so means you are not charged excessive for drinks. Service great.
