This is a traditional village pub which has a restaurant area and does very good, simple food, that is cooked fresh to order. The bar area has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and an extension has created an additional dining area which is disabled friendly.

great choice of four different meats,two prices one 7-50 and 10-50,the 10-50 one was to big for me but i polised it off, service was good seeing how busy it was,i will reccomend the black boy every time.

Hi. Although relatively quiet on the Sunday afternoon we visited I would recommend you booking a table to avoid disappointment.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside at The Black Boy.
