Popped in for lunch. Must admit at first looking at the menu we felt it was a little expensive. Oh boy, we were wrong. The food we had was first class or should I say 5 star. Only wish we lived locally and could pop in. We were on holiday but if in the area again will certainly be back.... More

Today l had the best lunch l've eaten in Years! So often, eating places promise much but deliver little. This bistro is a gem. Unpretentious, and a high quality, small menu served with love from start to finish. Locally sourced ingredients, home made bread, ice cream and sorbets and a highly skilled chef. The owners, Aga and Lewis have put... More

Had lunch today, purely because of the reviews from Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. Far better than average, gastro pubs eat your heart out. Will definitely go again, very pleased.

I have eaten quite a few good fishfinger sandwiches in my time, but none come close to the one I had today. Homemade bread delicious, tartare sauce scrumy and thick juicy fresh breaded fish so tasty.

Visited last night with family whilst on a weekend break. Lovely welcome, wonderful choices and the tastiest meal I have eaten in a long time. We visit the area often and we will definitely eat here every time from now on. Husband chefing, wife waiting on tables, mother washing up! Well done to the hardworking family collaboration. Love it!

Outstanding service from the waitress and food which is some of the best food we have ever had. theres a lot of pretentious or try-hard restaurants these days, this is not one, really talented chief and with an authentic approach. A real gem. The menu even evolves weekly. Look forward to many more meals here. Two suggestions if I may:... More

A really friendly welcome and cosy surroundings. We enjoyed excellent coffee and delicious sandwiches. I would certainly recommend the date and walnut scones. Would like to return to sample the evening menu :)
