The best customer service and food! Been ordering from here for the past year and it’s always been absolutely fantastic! Even when there was a mix up in houses when delivering they made everything fresh and even added extras! In love with their butter chicken...and onion bhajis and will continue ordering from them :)More

Amazing takeaway as usual. Lovely food. Really fresh tasting, just cooked, not microwaved, fresh salad, naan, popsdoms. Wish I could afford to eat there more often. Nice staff too

We stopped at Balti Spices one summer evening before making our way to Cambridge and sat inside the restaurant. The restaurant has a few tables and chairs, but as I understand, its mostly used as takeaway. The staff were very friendly, having just changed management...a few weeks before. We chatted to them a lot. We ordered poppadoms and chutneys to start with, followed by mixed grilled mains; chicken tikka, aloo tikki, kebabs and naan. The food was really delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was good, slow at times, but they were busy as their phonelines kept ringing. Overall, a great experience and we left very full! Hope to come back some day.More

We ordered a takeaway 2 hours ago..currently still waiting. No one will answer the phone, goes straight to voicemail.

I work for the NHS and have early shifts, so we thought we would order a take-a-way. The order was placed and we were given a time for delivery of 20:20. At 20:30 we still had no food. Calling the restaurant, we were told it...would be another 15 mins. We phoned again at 20:50 and were asked to pick the food up from the restaurant as this would be quicker for us. We drove the 5 miles to the restaurant only to find that the food, apparently was then being delivered to our house and was not even at the restaurant at all. At 21:30 we still had no food, but had been charged full price for it. The food had been out with the driver, it would appear, for over 1.5 hours before it was supposedly being delivered. We cancelled the order as it was getting a little late to find a meal elsewhere, by this time we had been waiting 2.5 hours for food, it had cost us over £20, and still had nothing to eat.More

I normally order from here and was always happy about the quality of food. However I did not order since last month and this time around the food was horrendous to say the least. I ordered from Balti Spices on Just Eat at 6:20PM on Saturday. After 3 hours my food had not been delivered. I called the restaurant 3 times during this period. The first time after about 2 hours of waiting, I was told my food would...arrive soon. 30 mins later I called again I was told it would arrive in 15 minutes. After another 30 minutes passed so I called the third time and was told my order hadn't even left the kitchen - it was 9:20PM at this point so I cancelled it. 3 hours waiting and no food - unbelievable! I don't think this behaviour is related to the current lock down. A quick scroll through their reviews on JUST EAT shows they have a habit of doing this to their customers with many complaints going back well into 2019! Ordering from this restaurant is like playing roulette you get your food or you don't simple as that. My advice is don't order from this restaurant. If you have and your food is more than 30 mins late then just CANCEL your order before it's too late to order from other restaurants. They will just give you false assurances and leave you waiting all night. To make matters worse the individual I spoke to was not particularly apologetic or understanding (an experience mentioned in other reviews) and, by his excuses and attitude, seemed to be of the opinion that he was the hard up one in this situation. The excuses were lacking too. I was told they had received 150 orders through the night. I placed my order at 6:20PM shortly after the restaurant opened, surely I was at the head of that queue? Most restaurants are receiving similar volumes at the moment and are managing just fine but if you can't handle that number of orders then don't accept so many. I was also told the JUST EAT app was to blame as it gave me the incorrect delivery time, I should have expected 2 hours 30 mins for the delivery. Who takes 2 hours 30mins to prepare and deliver a meal? Besides I had already been waiting for over 3 hours at that point…. go figure! All in all it was shoddy excuses and poor customer service that was very unprofessional.More

Ordered a delivery from these people tonight. After waiting more than 2 hours, I thought I’d ring to ask how long it was going to be. I was told at least another half an hour as he had over 100 orders. I pointed out that...if he was so busy he shouldn’t have taken my order in the first place, he abruptly cancelled my order and left us having to look elsewhere with an already hungry belly. Packed full of flavour and spices. I ve ate at the restaurant and bought over 10 takeaways from Balti Spice. Every meal has been top notch. We have to travel 30minutes to get hear, we will always keep coming back !
