Visited here whilst working away... Picked because of trip advisor reviews... The food was some of the best I have ever tasted in a curry house.. And I don't say that lightly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I ordered chilli paneer starter which wasn't on the menu and it was hot (not spicy hot) fresh and tasty. I had South Indian garlic chilli chicken for main which again was very tasty. The naans were fresh hot and perfectly cooked.
Very highly recommended... Will be back again.

Always excellent service, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, flavoursome but tender lamb and prawns that tasted of prawn, which they often do not. The Naan straight out of the tandoori, crisp and piping hot. Also the food was not floating in ghee which is often the case. Really enjoyed it, thank you.

In fairness we were served by various waiters but one in particular obviously didn't want to be there. I know people have off-days but we were left to feel a little unwelcome overall.
Can't fault the food though! Food was served fast and hot.

Called to order a large number of meals for a special birthday celebration and received the most appalling attitude when asked if they could throw in some poppadoms. I was told "we don't give free poppadoms and we are busy so we don't actually need your order". Absolutely gobsmacked!! Not at the lack of free poppadoms but at the disgusting attitude! How lucky for them that they are happy to turn away business in this current climate!!!! This business has lost a lot of customers tonight as there were a lot of people in the family ready to place their order!!!!

Food delivered within an hour. Don’t be fooled. It was awful. Onion Bhajis were either over cooked or re-fried. The mix grill was either over cooked or not fresh. Meat was so dry. The only good thing was the rice and poppadoms. Tried talking to the restaurant but they were rude and tried to deny anything of the sort. Contacted Uber as restaurant wasn’t bothered. Don’t waste your money…

Our first time visiting and we weren't disappointed.
Staff were very attentive and friendly.
We ordered a range of starters that were all well cooked and totally delicious,as was the main meal.
The food was reasonably priced with decent sized portions.
We will definately visit again.

Just Great !! The staff are extremely friendly in this very well family restaurant. There is a wide choice on the menu. I am sixty one years old, I have travelled throughout the UK and I can honestly say it's the best Indian food I have eaten.

Far too much focus on the takeaway delivery side of the business and not enough of customers dining in. Coming to take orders and serving food took ages. The manager guy was on the phone all the time… the waiter had poor English and the delivery driver was in and out like a yo-yo. Sadly the food was average too.

Ordered a carryout : Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Wellingborough and the staff are so friendly and kind. We had Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Madras, the flavours were so delicately balanced and fresh with lots of meat and the Jalfrezi was packed full of beautifully soft vegetables as well. Will be back again very soon for sure. Thank you for a wonderful meal and for being so lovely to talk to while waiting for our meal to take away. 5*****

I visited Ali’s to get myself a takeaway and as always the food was amazing. I’ve never had a lamb or chicken samosa like what this place serves. I had one of their recommended dishes from the menu and although the dish I had was a spicy one, you forget the spice because of all the incredible flavours going on in the dish. Service was fantastic while I chose and waited and in particular very friendly and welcoming Raj. By far my favourite Indian restaurant

Very disappointed, I would have rated it ZERO but it won't let me have had to put 1 spot, been going to Ali's for many years now, we had booked ahead so had a table.
We sat down and had our Popadoms, waited for an while then our started come out, then we sat wait and waiting waited for approximately 1 1/2 hours for our main when asked we were told while ready shortly, waited and waited, nothing, asked again told it was ready, nothing came out, told him if it is ready make it a take away as been to long now, came back around 5 mins or so saying will be another 10-15 mins.
Then to rub salt into the wounds a table that had ordered after ourselves got there food and we still had nothing, that was the last straw, we got up paid for what we had while being told our food was ready, said sorry you've had an hour and a half and not managed it so far so paid and left!!
Will not be going back any time soon!!😡

Placed an order online at about 17.50 hours, one our thirty minutes for delivery they said, ok longer than we wanted but went for it, after over three hours about 21.30 and several phone calls it arrived. Food was as good as always but will never order a home delivery again.
So so disappointed, ruined our evening

Excellent spot. First time visiting Ali’s and great spot. The food was delicious and service was fab! Welcomed by the staff when we entered and they were all abiding by the Covid rules. We were guided to our table...and had a great evening. Extensive menu with lots of choice and tasty Kingfisher beer which is the perfect partner for curry.
Highly recommend!

Excellent meal for the family. Went early to avoid the crowds as we had not booked in advance (recommended). Great service and good food. My wife really likes the tandoori lamb chops.

Ordered from here many of times and never had an issue however with it being New Year’s Eve and having the family come round, we thought we would order a takeout. Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for our order to arrive, which was ok as it was a busy period, however an item was missing. Someone’s main meal which I wasn’t going to let go. When I rang the restaurant to inform them, they were the least bit helpful. Indirectly calling me a liar and wouldn’t let me get a word in edge, which led me to hang up. The restaurant then rang me back and informed me a replacement missing meal was on the way. Waited 15 minutes to find they’d sent another wrong dish. I wasn’t wasting my time anymore. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. Happy new year, you’ve lost custom!
