Wonderful if you like flaky and crusty pastry, perhaps if you like big chunks of meat, this is not it; just a nice juicy mince. Also wonderful gourmet hot cross buns, more expensive than the local supermarkets but a lot more fruit and spice.

Called in as we passed by this cafe and bakery in the Plaza near to Woolworths. There's a variety of choices from sandwiches to baguettes and pita bread with a good choice of fillings. There's also a good selection of hot meat pies. The food is all well sisplayed and presented and tastes good too. The drink menu is pretty... More

Such a great spot to sit for coffee, cake and read the paper before you do the shopping! Banjos has a great display of pies, savoury, muffins, cakes and I am also delighted to note they have a Vegetarian savoury pastry. All most reasonably priced. Add great coffee and the best service.....it is always a winner.

I couldn't resist going back for seconds. Great Sausage rolls, not over done with spices. By the look of the traffic flow, this business is kicking butt. Cheers

Just over the bridge from inside the Plaza heading towards Woolies you will find this great little place for some great deals (coffee and cake) or some other deal! Always busy which shows that it is worth a visit!

A short walk across the bridge from the hustle of the plaza, you will find Banjo's. They have so much to choose from you order your food and you get a beeper to pick it up. The coffee was excellent. and also the various slices and pies we ordered. We sat overlooking the creek, there are lots of tables. This... More

I use to rate a banjos pie quite highly - but I am still looking for the meat in the Cape Grim premium pie my husband brought home as a treat whilst packing. All mushy gravy. Not nice.

Tucked away near Woolworths in a pleasant little spot to sit and have breakfast, coffee and cake. Love the selection of pies, Danish, slices, etc., etc., etc. Coffee is delicious too: a strong black is just that. Always a friendly welcome. Never fails to please. Would always recommend.
