We wandered past the jelly cafe on a visit to Port Elliot on our Victor Harbour holiday. Grabbed a take away coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Had to go back the next day to get another one before we headed off to Adelaide on the second stage of our SA trip!!

I only had coffee here but I'm writing because of the staff. The young girl working the counter was a delight. She went way out of her way to help me plan my visit to Port Elliot.

We enjoyed a good coffee in this small café in The Strand, Port Elliot’s historic street, and just across from the Railway Station. We sat outside and looked at the heritage buildings including the Hotel Elliot and the old Council chamber. It’s also a very pleasant walk from the main road end of The Strand to the Southern Ocean at... More

I was interested in the look of the restaurant it does have character. the first time I visited I bought fruit and vegies which were great. I liked the look of the place so decided to take my family there for brunch the next morning. We arrived at 11.30 to be informed that there is no food to be offered... More

The coffee here was below par and very average. The shop itself is OK with a range of sweets, food & drinks. I did see that the jellies for sale in a box was however out of date by 6 months. Service was good. Can't comment on food as we didn't have any.

I have been a regular customer with numerous positive experiences at Jelly, Port Elliot, apart from Boxing Day. I ordered the muesli for breakfast at $9.50 only to receive a small bowl containing only 4 x tablespoons of muesli and a drizzle of honey and yogurt. Not good enough !!!!!!!!! Left feeling hungry and dissatisfied :(

My lovely coffee snob boyfriend and I had stated overnight in McLaren Vale so thought we'd take the short drive to port Elliot to check out the scenery, and find us a good coffee. A search on BeanHunter didn't reveal much, but the Jelly Trading Store had the highest ratings.. Coffee was good, well made and the double shot ordered... More

I like the idea of a shop but its not a coffe shop. It feels like it's a bit of an after thought with not much food and terrible coffee.

Doing the rounds with my mother now she is settled here we visited this little store as i had never been in there. Took a while to be conversed with, it is a bit old world and cute, but also a little run down looking, some people will find the space is claustrophobic (look out if you have kids in... More
