Really delicious food on Amalfi coast. We came here in December, really good meat and they are specialized in meat. And so nice staff, we chatted and had a fun together.

The atmosphere was very cozy with a fire going in the fire place, the wait staff was very helpful and polite. And the food...amazing. Homemade pasta and excellent cuts of meat cooked over a coal fire. Along with homemade deserts to finish; this was an amazing experience. It is also easily accessible from Amalfi with the busses that run on... More

If you are looking for a romantic, authentic Italian home cooked meal on the Amalfi Coast make your way to the little village of Pogerola. We ate out at several different restaurants during our vacation but La Taverna dei Briganti was by far the best meal we had! A cozy, romantic restaurant with a family atmosphere and personal, authentic service.... More

We chose this restaurant as close to where we were staying and had read the great reviews. We were greated by Nino the owner with a complimentary glass of presecco. We had the most lovely tasty food, caprese for me and soup for my husband. For our main I had pasta with ricotta oh so delicious, my husband had steak,... More

This was my husband's choice during trip. We were staying in Amalfi and took the bus up to Pogerola. The trip alone was exciting and the bus drops you off at a set of stairs. Beware - there are >100 steep steps. We are young and so this was no problem but quite an adventure getting back up after 2... More

Have to go down a few steps just before the village of Pogerola but wow definitely worth it. Go for the meat selection from the wood fired oven and see if you can finish it.Great view to the sea , lovely traditional Italian ambience inside and most of all great food at reasonable prices served by lovely people. The walk... More
