The service can be hit or miss. We went on Sunday, around brunch time. Always good brunch and drink specials. Pretty laid back and comfortable. Menu offers a huge variety.

This restaurant has been a Columbus staple since 1940. Still has that great vibe. Love it. Great menu from breakfast through lunch and dinner. When you're in town, you need to must do the "Dube".

I have a friend who can't visit Columbus without going to the Blue Danube for a Long Island Iced Tea. Go figure. I'm sure Long Island Iced Tea is served at other places. Anyway, we always end up here for drinks and appetizers-- so I can't pass any judgement on the main menu. Their appetizers are hearty, if not high... More

The restaurant has a massive menu. When I asked the waitress what was good or they were know for, she said everything because it is all homemade. We tried several different items and nothing stood out as great, except for the berry inferno sauce. They did have a decent beer selection.

The Dube is a landmark. Over the years has served the same comfort food in the same environment. Painted drop ceiling tiles by various patrons makes this place very memorable as a conversation bar atmosphere

Last week the retiree adventurers decided to revisit our college days. At that time, the 60's, early 70's we frequented the OSU campus area diners, pizza joints, and bars. One of our favorite restaurants was The Blue Danube. The food was good, hearty, and relatively cheap. We especially looked forward to the cube steak and mashed potatoes. This provided nutrition... We took the family of 5 on a Sunday after an OSU home game. There was no wait for a table but they had us sit at a table that hadn't been bussed. We sat there with dirty dishes for at least 20 minutes before anyone looked our way. However, I do love the cool vibe of the place and... More

Arrived Friday evening. Walked in and slow, just stood there until realized you had to seat yourself. Service was average at best. Asked questions, but received short answers (e.g. Is the meat salty? and the answer was snarky and was "I don't eat meat".) The food was good and maybe above average. No mention of any drink or meal specials... More
