This restuarant with cane and bamboo interiors reminds of the typical Assamese art and architecture. The way food is presented in a thali (big plate) with several small bowls encircling it attracts the connoisseurs of food instantly. You will find all the ingredients associated with Assamese food be it khar, kharoli and others. You will savour every item which is less... More

Go for the Thali-the traditional Assamese cuisine and enjoy the food along with either the mouth watering duck curry with "kumura" or pigeon curry with "Koldil" to remind you of the taste for a long long time. The restaurant is very near to the State Capital Dispur alongside the Ganeshguri Flyover. For similar food one may also try "Paradise", "Khorika"... More

This is a nice roomy restaurant, furnished entirely in bamboo and with beautiful brass thalis and katoris. We ordered the vegetarian thali and several of the vegetable preparations were outstanding; some were simply insipid and the rice had a most peculiar taste and smell. I would recommend ordering specific dishes from the menu - avoiding the squash like concoction and... More

Excellent Assamese cuisine. The thali is really nicely decorated. The entire bamboo based decorations of the restaurant have the true atmosphere of sitting in Assam. Overall nice experience. One should try it.

Nice ambience but with OK food. Serve is nice, and if it's your 1st visit then it's good BT after that it turns to be OK, coz of the lack in varieties in their food.

The Restaurant reflects part of Assam culture to some extent. The food is a combination of Assamese items truly reflecting the food habit of the people of Assam. The staffs are cordial. Food price is also very reasonable. It's worth visiting the place for a lunch and(or) dinner

The Gams Delicacy has assembled the treasured tribal recipes of Assam and Manipur in its attractive menu. They have 2 outlets in Guwahati and both serves the unique dishes cooked in ethnic style and served on the bronze utensils. The food quality is good and services are prompt. A good place to try Assamese cuisine in Guwahati.
