Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited for lunch, and ordered the mini afternoon tea. Really enjoyed it. We chose the cheese and pickle sandwiches, lovely, and cake. Huge pot of tea. Lovely welcome and perfect service from Amanda.

If you are not in a rush, this is a must. My fourth visit in 2 years and the staff always make me smile, such characters and a great little business. Quaint surroundings which will keep you interested whilst waiting for food/drink (there is usually...something or several things not available but the staff will pop out to the local supermarket...)! I love it and would recommend it to anyone who has time on their ends. Will keep going back for as long as they are in business - please support it and I promise you will come out smilingMore

Wow... Berni Beans Tea Room. If you are in Hunstanton and like Tea Rooms, seek out Berni Beans in the High Street. Whether it is for a cup of tea or something more substantial this is not to be missed. We went for a Valentines...Meal, it was a 70s theme...prawn cocktail, steak and black forest gateaux....absolutely superb! Reasonably priced, helpful and friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and setting Highly recommended.More

It was fully booked on the Saturday afternoon we visited but we had the perfect outdoor table under cover which suited us and our dogs perfectly. While the humans had lovely homemade scones the dogs were offered their own plate of treats and a bowl...of water. Great placeMore

Berni Beans is a lovely old-style teashop which does excellent afternoon teas and a varied range of lunch dishes, served by a very friendly staff led by chef/proprietor Amanda, whose latest line (naan-bread pizzas) is well worth sampling.

A beautiful tea room , such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff couldn't have been anymore attentive than they where. I had the best haggis, neeps and tatties I've ever tasted . Even better than when I had it in Edinburgh. I would thoroughly recommend this tea...room. I definitely will be back soon.More

Absolutely lovely! We are so happy we found this little, vintage tearoom after our walk in Hunstanton. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we were so relieved to have a sit down and hot drink (the weather was so cold). I had a...scone (it was homemade and warm from the oven and absolutely delicious). My partner had a sandwich, which came with some crisps on the side ( nothing was left and he really enjoyed it). A delightful find and we will return!More

Fantastic on all fronts. Friendly - found us a table, having been rejected as “too busy, come back later” at the coffee shop opposite. Lovely to have a cafetière and real china cups. Plus a warm welcome for our dog - providing water and a...handful of treats. We will definitely return for afternoon tea, to this lovely little establishment.More

We used. Berni Beans for my Father in law’s celebration of life as he suddenly passed away, Amanda was so helpful in organising everything, from setting up the hall, dressing the hall. It was so nice for our family just to enjoy the family, without...the worry that there was enough food for everybody. Her staff were professional, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was all prepared fresh sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and Cakes ( loads of cakes) cheese cakes and fresh fruit. it was well presented, all with bone china plates and cups and saucers, table linen, I could not of thought of a better way to say goodbye of our dear dad. Coffee and tea was fresh and plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble for Amanda, and her team of fabulous helpers. I can not thank them enough for a lovely afternoon, and a lovely way to remember a loved one without any hassle for the family. Thank you Amanda and her great team of ladies for a lovely afternoon xxxMore

We had n 'Afternoon tea' provided at our local Catholic Church for 40 people who were attending a special event. The food provided was superb and the staff who helped us at the time were lovely and supporting. Everything was provided and presented beautifully and...cleared away when we finished. A fabulous and quirky place to enjoy our afternoon tea. Our lunch was divine, with a delicate ensemble of sandwiches and homemade scones. We were so excited to get a reservation on my partner’s special birthday, it was worth the wait. Excellent service all round,...and really looking forward to going back. Thank you for such memorable day.More

Hunstanton was deserted due to driving rain and it was late afternoon when our holiday group of 3 families arrived at Bernie Beans but we were given such a warm welcome at this lovely cosy little cafe. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess...who made up kids’ portions especially, treated the children generously and brought us extra cakes. We tried the scones, lemon cake and carrot cake which were all light and delicious. It was the end of the day and most other cafes were already shut but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We couldn’t have had a better experience!More
