Cosy little cafe just by the market place. Beautifully decorated. All home cooked food. Cakes are amazing! They do light lunches too. It is very small but don't let that put you off. Lovely friendly staff.

Been there twice with different friends and loved every minute from the quaint fittings that go with the porsolain and perhaps a few people as well :-) The selection of cakes goes down well.

Can definitely recommend this little tea shop! It's ambiance is that of an old fashioned afternoon tea & cake shop, with the most delicious array of cakes, scones, savoury snacks, coffees and tea. The service is excellent and swift with the food living up to its yummy looks. Wymondham its self is a cute little little town worth walking around... More

Lovely quaint 'English' tea room. The decor and items they have on display to buy are adorable and make the environment very inviting and comfortable. Food was delicious. Could do with having a few more tables. Other than that, it was a great place to take my American boyfriend to show him how England really does tea rooms!!

Description
A pretty, quaint and quirky little tea shop, which can be found nestling in the very centre of the historic market town of Wymondham, Norfolk. Themed around Alice in Wonderland, the shop itself, has a vintage feel with pastel blue and pink walls, bedecked with bunting, vintage crockery and a range oddments. We pride ourselves on providing good, wholesome food, complemented by good old fashioned friendly service. We specialise in serving a wide range of home made cakes, scones, sausage rolls and much more. This is complemented with fresh bean-to-cup coffee, teas and a range of other hot and cold beverages. In short, Mad Hatters Tea Shop is "a slice of home made loveliness" !
