Having seen previous reviews I agree that the service is awful. My partner and I ordered 2 sandwiches and ended up waiting 40 minutes until we eventually asked how long the wait was. This is the second time I've been to the barn cafe and...More

We went in for freshments whilst visiting the farm shop during a walk from Needham Lakes (worth doing in itself). Turned out to be much more than a garden centre coffee shop. Having planned a quick coffee we had a nice lunch. The food was...More

The barn at Alder Carr is always a delight. We regularly go for tea/coffee and cake as well as lunch. We have also booked in for a Christmas lunch for the third year in a row. The only drawback to the excellent food is that...More

Friendly and welcoming. The Barn Cafe is very clean and comfortable with inside and out side seating areas. The breakfast can include black pudding and home made 'bubble & Squeak'. The bread is home made as are the sausages, tomatoes home grown.
