Having stumbled across this little gem while trying to find somewhere to stay for a short Spring break in the Aldeburgh area my partner and I spent 3 wonderful days here. The Staff were very welcoming/friendly indeed and nothing was too much trouble for them...during our stay - we were very sad to leave this morning having enjoyed every minute of our stay here. This beautiful little country pub is nestled in the beautiful and quiet village of Snape with great views across the marshes towards The Maltings, which is a mere 10 minutes walk away, Our room was very clean, nicely quirky, spacious and had a great 'country' feel to it - the en-suite bathroom was large and clean with good facilities too! Breakfast was delicious each day, whether it was a full English or something lighter and evening meals were a joy too - their sea bream is definitely a 'must' to enjoy! There's plenty of on-site parking too! All-in-all, if you're looking for a quiet country pub with character, charm, gorgeous location and great Staff then look no further because you've now found it just like we did - we will return there this year without any doubt! Enjoy! Graham and PatMore
