A dry December day, sun out, and just the freshest fish cooked perfectly, eaten outdoors in the harbour area, surrounded by the fisherman’s shacks.

On a frosty day we were glad of the warmth. It wins my prize for the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree-white using oyser shells. We had skate and a fish cake with lovely chips and freshly cooked bread. The service was attentive, freindly and professional.

Absolutely delicious fish & chips and such a nice experience eating out by the boats on the harbour, especially on a sunny day. Located tucked away from the busy bit of Southwold, I almost don’t want this place to become too ‘discovered’... a real gem.

Definitely not. They only serve fish. Some of mine don’t eat fish only meat. So they have chips and mushy peas! Can’t say I’m an expert in veggie as I’m a pig farmer!!
