We have eaten here 4 times over the period of a few years whilst on holiday. Always great food and great service. The restaurant is a gem and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are wonderful, and the food is superb if you are looking for a...fish restaurant.More

Get there close to opening time as this place can get busy. Beautifully located along the harbour, this place provides the most authentic setting to enjoy some very tasty fresh seafood accompanied by a choice of wines and local Adnams beers. Indoor and outdoor seating...available, plus a fresh fish counter to buy products to take home. I love visiting here each time I am in Southwold and a well deserved reward after a walk along the beach from the town! Seems a little expensive than it used to be, but isn’t that the case with everything at the moment!? Look forward to be back!More

Cod and chips was very disappointing. The cod portion was very thin and not cheap. Expected better. Shame as we came here on a recommendation.

Fantastic mixed seafood player with beer battered oyster and chargrilled crevettes with a nice bottle of Pinot. The restaurant was fully booked but what a better way to enjoy fresh seafood than in the fresh air. Really friendly people that were extremely attentive. A real...must for any visitor to the areaMore

It’s rustic but wonderful, it’s not rick steins but Rick doesn’t buy amazing local fresh fish like these People do ! The staff were wonderfully charming and polite, don’t believe the other reviews ! Hard working women working flat out show them respect and be...polite and they will respond, the sea food was so so fresh ! The Colchester oysters where HUGE and creamy fresh ! The wine was properly chilled and the whole experience was one I would repeat again and again, I have eaten in some of the worlds best sea food chefs joint and the freshness of the fish here today was amazing, yes the toilet is outside yes it’s like being In the galley of a ship but I can tell you now you will go a long way to get shellfish as good as thisMore

friendly staff let down by the kitchen. Starter arrived with notified allergen on it. Then waited 3/4 hour for the main course. Offered a free coffee in recompense. By the time the food came had gone off the whole idea. The large prawns were okay,...but nothing special.More

Definitely not. They only serve fish. Some of mine don’t eat fish only meat. So they have chips and mushy peas! Can’t say I’m an expert in veggie as I’m a pig farmer!!
