Stopped for lunch and ordered cod and chips to be washed down with lovely Adnams Broadside. The beer was great however I was disappointed by the cod and chips. The batter on the chips was a bit unpleasant and the chips were not as crisp...More

Good local and traditional pub and very well known in Southwold. Serves most Adnams beers and ales. Really worth a pit stop of you’re walking the harbour area. Note that there’s also child free zone in the top section/area of the pub. Staff seemed very...More

We walked from Southwold along harbour road and stopped on way to the Bell pub at Walberswick. Range of Adnames beers available. An interesting pub with lots of historic photos on the walls. Good pub but no atmosphere as it was a quiet day.

A great place to go and eat. Yummy food, large portions, lovely setting, great beer. We always go back when we visit Southwold a few times a year.

If we were to eat here again we would share a few starters as they’re lovely. The salt cod chowder and the crispy cod cheeks were lovely but the mains coming out looked a bit subpar so we moved on.
