We went to Harbour Inn with our visitors from London last night. it was not pleasant at all. We asked for menus a member of staff who was clearing the table. We have not seen any body else we waited about 10-15 minutes still no one around. There were about 6 people at the top bar and another 6 apart... More

We visited during October half term, so it was very busy. Although we were unable to find a table downstairs in the more atmospheric olde worlde bar, the dining room upstairs was light and airy and provided lovely views over the marshes towards Southwold on one side and down the river on the other. The tables were well-spaced and conducive... More

good beer, good food, good service, plenty of space in the summer and warm and snug in the winter. The veggie 'fish and chips' is really good!

lovely position overlooking the river, good outdoor seating. Friendly staff, comfortable bars and seating areas. Food not so good...light bites or starters tasty and well presented. I had the venison, meat and veg ok but mash dry and tasteless. Next time fish and chips...smoked haddock in over cooked batter, mushy peas that were frozen garden peas mashed with mint sauce,... We love the harbour Inn. Food is amazing. We always go for fish and chips as they are delicious. Puddings are delicious too. Definitely worth the 15minute walk from town.

This place gets busy at lunchtimes, so be prepared for a wait for food. There is a full range of Adnams beers and the food is well cooked and the portions are generous. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Well worth a visit. We had local beer ( adnams ) and fish and chips one evening. Beer around four pound and main courses thirteen pound. Friendly staff. Pub is on 3 different levels with old harbour memorabilia. Dog friendly. If walking back down the lane to Southwold at night bring a torch!!

Went with my family for lunch on my 80th birthday. We had the sharing plates, very good, the sardines really tasty. As a Yorkshireman I find the price of drinks very high compared to Gods own country.

Lovely pub with old snug area and newer dining area. Ordering food is easily done at bar although had to wait a small time. Menu was not extensive but the plaice and cod we had were delicious. Nice surroundings and good views and for a Sunday was not packed. Did not feel rushed.

Six of us and two wet dogs after walking the beach and then along black shore quay aimed ourselves at the garden behind the pub knowing that we would be out of the wind on a sunny afternoon. We ordered beers and wine sandwiches and snacks , all perfectly fine .service was quick even though the pub was busy ,... More
