Had a delicious afternoon tea with my sister- sandwiches, scones and cakes. All was very fresh and tasty, and did not need to be booked in advance. Service was excellent, and our table out in the garden was lovely. Will be returning soon.

It’s a great location. And we sat outside in the sunshine. But by 10.30am they’d run out of brown bread and the white was very basic. The coffee was also very poor. But the scrambled eggs were nice. Need to try harder to excel.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and good selection of meals. Large portions. Perfect on a cold day with the fire and architecture. Couldn't fault it.
