About
The Orangery is a delightful Tea Room, set in the grounds of Ashburnham Place. The grounds were designed by Capability Brown and there are 220 acres to enjoy walking around. We serve light Lunches, Sandwiches and Paninis as well as Soup of the day, a Selection of Hand made Cakes, and Good quality Teas and Coffee. In the Summer months we have additional outside seating on our terrace.

We go at least 4 times a year if not more and have never had a single problem . This place is the perfect place to sit relax and enjoy the company of friends and family whilst indulging in the best scones or sandwiches .

The Orangery Tea rooms have a small but excellent choice of foods all at incredibly reasonable prices. The cheese scones are the best in Sussex and if you're there in the morning, still warm from the oven. Good quality coffee and friendly cheerful volunteer staff....More

Well worth a visit. The grounds were l6aid out by Capability Brown in the 18th century. Walking around their lakes is a great way to get away from the hustle of every day life
