Decided to visit upon reading other reviews. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese &beans &coleslaw. It can with a small salad. Very nice. Although some butter pats wouldn't have gone a miss. I'd definitely go again. Nice clean toilets as well.

There are so many tea rooms/ coffee shops in Battle to choose from! We visited this cafe for a coffee, very good and a friendly owner. Quaint and slightly off the High St. Worth a try

Birthday treat from my sister, afternoon tea, sat by the window overlooking The Abbey. More than enough to eat, well presented, sandwiches and cakes delicious 😋 , needed a take out bag for the leftovers!!! Nicely decorated, felt clean. Would definitely return.

I'm not sure that it would be, as the tables are close together. Otherwise lovely atmosphere but quite cosy.

HI - yes if you want the full 3 tier plate afternoon tea. You can book a table anyway - it is often busy so if you definitely want a seat I would ! Usually quieter there when the sun is blazing as people go to the beach... More

Hi, no, I'm afraid we don't do private functions - we're a very small tearoom, with maximum seating for 25.
