Felt very comfortable with all precautions being taken due to the virus. Food at lunchtime and during another evening, was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

A very pleasant evening spent here, with friendly service. It's always good to see a limited menu so you know the quality will be good, using local suppliers.

Had a lovely family lunch here Sunday, lovely roast beef, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Out of all the pubs we have recently visited we felt very safe regarding covid19 safety measures! We will be visiting again very soon, thank you

I do not know the answer to this but suggest you contact the current owners who can maybe able to contact the village regulars for their memories.
